Waiting for the Storm

We have spent the last two days tracking the progress of Hurricane Gustav, right now it looks like it will hit land around noon tomorow (6pm in the UK) as a category 3 storm and that New Orleans is going to take a direct hit. One of our friends is a pastor in Gulfport, MS, Their church was very badly damaged after Katrina so this is an anxious time for all concerned.

As for us, well we are in the north of the state and unlikely to have any problems except for perhaps some wind and rain in the next few days. Our shipping container entered via the port in New Orleans, it arrived here in Columbus on Wednesday.

  1. Good to hear your stuff arrived safely. And that the container is no longer in New Orleans
