Lunch at Liberty Hall

Joel at Liberty Hall

A couple of Sundays ago we were invited to lunch with one of our church members. She lives in a rather grand Antebellum near town which was designed and built by her great-great grandparents and is one of only two in the area that has remained in the same family. We had a wonderful lunch consisting of tasty Southern staples such as butter beans, black eye peas and chess pie. It was a real treat to learn about the history of the home and the family who have lived there for many generations. click on the thumbnails below to see some more photos.
