At the Pumpkin Patch

I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many varieties of pumpkin in one place as I did yesterday! There were all sorts of interesting varietes there and we came home with a bagload. Interestingly, most of the free recipes that were there on a print out were for cakes, candies and (sweet) pies. I’m planning to make soup and roast mine I think. Anyway, the kids had a fun time playing in a trailer with cotton in it, a tunnel made from hay bales and a sand pit with corn in it.
