I have a fan

David called Covenant Seminary bookstore recently, when he gave his name to the nice lady on the phone she said “Are you Sheena’s husband?”
To say he was a little taken aback would be an understatement, then she told him that she reads my blog, but that I’d not posted anything for a while.

So, apologies to my one fan up there in St Louis, I’ll try harder to keep up with my blog a bit better. I’d like to tell you that it’s because I’ve been working hard keeping on top of my mountain of ironing, but alas, no.

  1. Go ahead. Blame me. You know you want to… 😉

  2. It was me. And I laughed when we hung up the phone. I think the other guy shopping in the bookstore thought I was a complete freak, but oh well.

Nice chatting with your husband on the phone. 🙂

  3. I did wonder if it was you, but then I thought that you were so busy with your homeschooling, blogging and writing for WORLD that it must have been someone else! :0)

  4. I’m another fan and check your blog every week or two. I always enjoy what you post and hope to meet you some day. Sarah talks about how much she misses you (and loves you).

  5. To Sarah Hay’s mum:
Not meaning to be rude but I hope you must come here to meet Sheena. As for us, we are hoping they never leave. I tried to get them to sign a pact in blood but was unsuccessful. I’m hoping that as long as we keep the pulled pork coming that they’ll overlook the heat and humidity to think there’s nowhere they’d rather be! (oh, Euan is one of the TOP crane operators in the lineup; don’t know what Mr. Charles would do without him!)
